Calling Military Veterans

PTSD Experimental Treatment Trial (PETT): Comparing two talking therapies for the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder in UK military veterans

Inspire are pleased to be working alongside King's College London and Queen's University Belfast in the delivery of this innovative treatment trial. Inspire currently provides access to psychological therapy, counselling and associated support services to over 800,000 individuals across the UK and Ireland. This includes a board-level commitment to working with security-based organisations and we have built our specialist knowledge and reputation working in partnership for over 10 years with a range of difference veteran support organisations and groups. During this time we have developed a service offering that is safe, competent, responsive and flexible in meeting the needs of this specialist group. We are pleased to be able to collaborate with Kings College London and Queens University Belfast to explore how best we can collectively support veterans in this important treatment trial.

Mangang - It's Not Weak To Speak

The ManGang was founded by a man who struggled with poor mental health all of his adult life.
He, like many other men, found it difficult to share his experience and condition with others for fear of judgement.
He thought that he would be judged as being weak.
After losing a close friend to suicide on 2017, he embarked on a campaign to break the stigma that stopped his friend from talking about his issues.

The ManGang is based on the simple concept that ‘It’s Not Weak To Speak.’

MOD Diversity Networks

Diversity networks that support civilian and Armed Forces personnel working in the Ministry of Defence.

Defence recognises that our people are our greatest asset, and if we are to maximise the talent of all our people we need to create a culture that is centred on respect and integrity. We are fortunate to have a variety of diversity networks across the organisation, and our subsidiaries, that support and drive forward our work in building an inclusive and diverse workforce.

Child Trust Fund - BFPO Addresses

All children born between 1st September 2002 and 2nd January 2011 will have received a government voucher for between £50 - £250 which was used to open a Child Trust Fund (CTF) on their behalf. These CTF accounts are due to start maturing on 1st September 2020 when the first children turn 18, however CTF providers have BFPO addresses where mail has been returned, (around 25,000 in total) so they do not have up to date contact details. Do you have a child born between those dates and do you know where your child’s CTF is held? CTF Providers are asking you to make contact with them if you have not received a CTF statement in the past year to ensure they have the latest address for your child. This is to ensure they can receive their money when they turn 18. If you don’t remember who your child’s CTF is with you can contact HMRC (but will require a Government Gateway account to do this).
