Padel Tennis Courts Open for Play!
We are delighted to announce that Stage 1 of the much-anticipated Padel Tennis Courts project in Happy Valley has now been completed! 
The courts will be available for booking from Friday 2 October via a dedicated booking app. Full booking details and access instructions will be released within the next 24 hours by Charlie Fish and Nathaniel Allman, who will oversee the day-to-day management of the facility. 
We are working hard to bring the lighting system into operation as soon as possible.
A Team Effort This project has been delivered following many months of planning, coordination and collaboration across a wide range of organisations and stakeholders.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to Episkopi Garrison QM’s Dept, DIO, MITIE and Estate Requirements for their expertise, logistical support and continued commitment throughout the project. 
Special thanks also go to DFR for providing the substantial water resources required during the construction of the courts' concrete base. 
We are equally grateful to SFP and the Episkopi Garrison Security Contingent for their support in facilitating contractor and engineer access to the site, often at short notice and during weekends, ensuring the project remained on schedule. 
Finally, we would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Regional Command, the Nuffield Trust, the Local Initiative Grant (LIG), and Episkopi Garrison for the funding and financial support that have made this fantastic facility a reality for our community.

We hope they will become a popular addition to the Garrison, providing an outstanding opportunity for sport, fitness and social engagement across the community. Grand Opening Event & Open Competition 
To mark the opening, a Grand Opening Event and Open Competition will be held on Wednesday 21 October . 
Further details, including entry information, will be released by Nathaniel Allman in due course. We look forward to seeing the courts well used and enjoyed by all members of the community for many years to come.
