Little Troopers - Launch of their new Therapy Programme
- On 10th October, World Mental Health Day, Little Troopers will be opening up referrals to our new Therapy Programme.
We have seen a big increase in the number of military families contacting our charity with messages like this, worried about how military life is impacting the wellbeing of their child. The Little Troopers Therapy Programme is funded by The National Lottery Community Fund and will be delivered in England over the next two years, offering one-to-one therapy sessions for individual children, as well as group sessions delivered in the community at youth groups, cadets, scouts and other groups. It's something we have wanted to bring to fruition for some time and it will fill the gap that exists between everyday support and crisis support already delivered through the NHS - You'll be able to refer via our website from 10th October.
